**Job Description**
This occupation requires sweeping, cleaning, dusting, waxing, polishing, mopping, scrubbing, and removing trash and other duties necessary to maintain good housekeeping at company facilities. Perform various manual and mechanical tasks and assist Maintenance Technician.
Performs such typical operations as sweeping, emptying waste baskets, scrubbing, mopping, washing, drying, polishing, and waxing floors, walls, woodwork, furniture, windows, cleaning carpets, drinking fountains and lavatories, replenishing supplies such as soap, towels, drinking cups, disinfectants, and sanitary napkins.
Performs such typical tasks as moving heavy material, machinery, and equipment. Operates a steam jenny to clean barrels, machinery and racks; operate carpet cleaning equipment, auto strippers, buffers (high speed and low speed) and any other specialized equipment required to accomplish associated tasks.
