Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Manage vendors to ensure timely customs declarations, adherence to KPIs, and full compliance with company SOPs.
- Coordinate the daily flow of documentation, ensuring all required permits and Other Government Agency (OGA) approvals are obtained prior to customs submission.
- Manage pre‑ and post‑clearance activities, including accurate billing, coordination of duty and tax disbursements, and digital filing of approved permits.
- Proactively identify potential customs clearance bottlenecks and engage clients early to resolve issues, minimising risks of port storage or demurrage.
- Maintain and govern the Client SOP repository, ensuring customer‑specific requirements are accurate and kept up to date.
- Ensure customs clearance submissions are timely, complete, and accurate.
