About the role
As one of our Customer Delivery Drivers, you’ll be bringing the unique blend of quality Waitrose produce and Partner‑led service right to our customers’ doors. When you’re not out on the road, you’ll be back at the shop supporting the team with daily tasks such as stock replenishment and housekeeping, contributing to the efficient and productive running of the shop in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Due to its nature, you need to be 18 years or older to work in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Check your delivery routes for the day.
- Load and prepare your van for deliveries, ensuring all orders are together and can be efficiently delivered directly to customers.
- Perform all appropriate vehicle safety checks, maintain full road compliance, health and safety.
- Act as an ambassador for the Waitrose brand while on the road, providing excellent customer service as your top priority.
