The position is responsible for precisely edging and mounting prescription lenses into customer frames, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. This role involves meticulous inspection of finished spectacles to guarantee they meet quality standards before delivery to customers. Responsibilities Edging & Mounting Receive and unpack lenses from the lens envelope, first check on the lenses condition. Checking lenses by using the lensometer to ensure the lens power is accurate and do marking for the optical center and axis according to the orders request. Perform tracer machine to trace on the spectacle frame/ lens to get the lens shape and size. Operate edging machine to edge the lenses into lens shape that required, and gently mounting it on customer's frame. Operate drilling and grooving machine to fulfill Rimlon and Rimless frame requirements. Retouch or chamfer the lenses by machine/ hand edge when needed.
