Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Cyber, Privacy, and Data Innovation group in Washington, D.C. The role involves advising global companies on privacy, cybersecurity, and AI compliance programs, covering a wide range of U.S. and international laws and frameworks. Duties Advise on compliance with major privacy and data protection frameworks. Negotiate privacy, security, and data‐related terms in commercial contracts. Handle privacy and security components of corporate transactions. Engage directly with clients and lead significant projects. Develop AI governance frameworks and policies. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience in privacy, cybersecurity, AI, and data protection. Experience with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, COPPA, BIPA, CAN‐SPAM, TCPA.
