**Cytotechnologist**

**Status:** Full-time, 40 hours/week

**Shift:** Day shift

**Location:** Trinity Health Ann Arbor

$5,000 sign on bonus

Th Cytotechnologist performs all necessary laboratory procedures pertaining to accessioning, technical preparation of cytologic specimens and initial evaluation of prepared slides from all body sites.

**Required Education**

+ **Have graduated from a school of cytotechnology accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent.**
+ Certified in cytotechnology by a certification agency approved by HHS (ASCP preferred).

**Experience**

+ 1-3 years cytology experience preferred.

**Skills/Knowledge**

+ Demonstrates a mastery of the theories, principles and techniques involved in the area of specialization.
