Occupation: Dairy Cattle Farm Worker
Location: Irrewillipe Victoria 3249
Located in South West Victoria we are a family owned and operated dairy farm. We milk 1200 cows. We are hiring a dairy cattle farm worker who believes dairy farming is a profession and will be able to undertake the following responsibilities:
Milk Harvesting
Ensure all cows are milked in accordance with farm procedure
Identify and correct problems in the machine function and operation as they arise. Identify
and correct unsafe and unacceptable milking practices.
Report any animal health issues or concerns directly to the herd manager
Perform cleaning process according to procedure and to prepare for the next milking.
Feed Management and Delivery
Set up, operate and monitor concentrate feed delivery equipment at dairy and elsewhere on
farm. Oversee the processing of concentrates to deliver the prescribed ration.
