Job Description
EXL is seeking a high-caliber forecasting professional to lead the design and delivery of long-term claims volume and telephony demand forecasts for a major Australia-based insurance client. It is an analytically intensive position requiring the ability to build, calibrate, and govern multi-horizon forecast models that incorporate macroeconomic signals, weather-driven event risk, regulatory shifts, and insured portfolio dynamics.
The successful candidate will function as the primary forecasting subject matter expert (SME) embedded within the client's ecosystem, driving data-to-decision pipelines that directly inform staffing strategy, capacity investment, and SLA commitments across the contact center and claims operations.
Requirements:
▸ 5–9 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or quantitative analytics roles with a minimum of 3 years in Insurance (P&C, General, Life) or Banking/Financial Services.
