Job Description

Data Center Engineer

As the Data Center Engineer at EdgeUno, you will play a pivotal role in managing the colocation facilities primarily located in the Points of Presence (POPs) in Bogotá, Argentina. We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment, ensuring continuous improvement in capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with hands‑on experience in data center operations, availability for on‑call shifts (24/7), and a willingness to travel when necessary.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Equipment Installation & Maintenance
    • Rack, stack, and cable IT equipment, including servers, network devices, and rack PDUs.
    • Implement and maintain structured cable management best practices.
    • Assist with the deployment of Rack/MOR cabling, ensuring high-quality standards.
