About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance/contract work in Waitaki District, NZ. This is an on-site position supporting mission-critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware installations, decommissions and migrations
- Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic)
- Conduct server racking, stacking and labeling
- Perform cross-connects and patch panel work
- Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues
- Document all work with photos and detailed notes
- Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams
