Job Description
We are looking for a Data Governance Expert who is responsible for managing and implementing the day-to-day tasks.
The role is highly collaborative and focuses on establishing governance best practices for structured and unstructured data, engaging with domain stewards and overseeing the use of Microsoft Purview as the primary governance tool.
Key Roles and Responsibilities- Proven experience in data governance, data management or information management in a business‑facing capacity.
- Regular updates to the Data Governance Lead and participation in council meetings.
- Maintenance of governance documentation and handover responsibilities to ensure continuity post‑contract period.
- Hands‑on expertise with data catalog or business glossary tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra or Alation.
- Active management of Microsoft Purview and OneLake Catalog for data governance operations.
