Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Specialist with 6+ years of hands‑on experience in defining and implementing data governance frameworks, data classification models, business glossaries, data catalogs, and access control mechanisms. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure data is well‑classified, high‑quality, secure, and trusted across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Data Classification & Metadata Management
- Propose and define the data classification framework for the organization, including Personal Data, Sensitive Data, Confidential, Financial, Business‑Critical, etc.
- Identify and document target tables across business domains.
- Perform metadata tagging of critical tables, applying tags such as:
- Division / Domain
- PII (Personal / Sensitive data)
- Financial / Confidential
