Responsibilities
● Support data engineers to build performant and secure data workflows and pipelines.
● Develop and maintain infrastructure as code deployments of cloud resources, using
Terraform, that are reproducible and consistent across environments.
● Maintain and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including performance tuning, scaling,
backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
● Implement and oversee backup strategies and disaster recovery procedures,
including regular testing of recovery processes.
● Collaborate with development teams to integrate new data sources and pipelines.
● Monitor system performance, set up alerts, and respond to incidents.
● Conduct ongoing performance optimizations.
