**About the Role**
Canon USA in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Data Scientist, a developing professional, working towards full proficiency. This position works across the company with all Canon business units and departments. In this role a candidate will gather data from a variety of internal and external sources, clean and amalgamate the data, and use programming, math, statistical and analytical skills to interpret data. The role includes working with sales, customer, channel and product data to develop business insights and predictive results to influence executive decisions.
This role helps business units and divisions understand customers and market trends, forecasting, and works to improve internal processes through a wide variety of methods and tools.
