Summary This position supports the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Medical Disability Examination Office (MDEO) in Washington, D.C. The primary purpose for this position is to serve as a Data Scientist, supporting the data architecture modernization and sustainment, and analyzing data and trends associated with medical disability examinations associated with Veterans and their claims. Responsibilities Conduct regression analysis, statistical analysis, modeling, machine learning, Natural Language Processing, time series forecasting, exploratory data analysis and data visualization. Work in established and emerging data science tools such as Toad, SAS, R, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, and cloud analytics platforms. Conduct data extraction by using computer programming without preset specifications.
