Job Summary The Data Scientist is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and consulting services to all areas of the organization on research and analysis. This includes information on best practices, metric methodology and predictive modelling. The incumbent’s primary function is to conduct research and analysis on WCB programs for senior leadership and operational business units.
Job Duties
Conduct advanced research and analysis for Senior Executive and various WCB Business Units, guiding requestors through problem definition, approach and presenting results to enable self‑sufficiency with new self‑serve tools described to the BI DBA or BI Analyst.
Conduct research or provide data for external requests, ensuring WCB policies and privacy legislation are followed.
Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Senior Executive and the Board of Directors, including information for the Annual report.
