Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established international company in Geneva. They are looking for a Data Platform Support Engineer to join their Data Platform & Applications team and ensure the reliability of mission-critical systems in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 support for data platform applications: incident triage, troubleshooting, resolution
- Monitor application health, data flows and performance using dedicated dashboards and tools
- Handle user queries, service requests, and escalations with clear documentation
- Perform operational tasks: user access management, batch job monitoring, data integrity checks
- Contribute to root cause analysis, problem management and continuous improvement
- Support incident and change management processes following best practices
- Participate in on‑call rotation and after‑hours support when required
