Job Description

Our client, a Fortune 500 US-based company is now seeking a DBA/Technical Support to provide technical support for database service and applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the database design, performance tuning and on-going maintenance for the database servers, he or she will work closely with our Infrastructure Engineering, Customer Services, Quality Assurance and Project Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical consultancy and solutions to meet client’s business requirement
  • Design, setup, configure the Oracle/SQL Databases & performance monitoring, quality assurance, trouble-shooting and tuning
  • Setup Disaster Recovery Plans 
  • Provide support and management services on Oracle/SQL Databases to the clients
  • Manage database change & security in development, testing, QA and production environments
  • Manage application related issues (e.g. OS, databases, Web Server, Apache Tomcat, SharePoint)
