Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle-to-PostgreSQL database migration and modernization initiatives.
- Define PostgreSQL architecture, including HA/DR, scalability, performance, and security.
- Drive schema conversion, data migration, replication, and validation activities.
- Provide technical guidance to application, migration, and testing teams.
- Lead database consolidation, optimization, and cloud database adoption initiatives.
- Prepare architecture documentation and engage stakeholders on technical decisions.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in enterprise database architecture and administration.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration projects.
- Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Experience managing Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and IBM DB2 environments.
