Position Overview
We are seeking Youth Workers to lead programs for youth in grades 6-9 across Central Ontario, Muskoka, and northern communities.
Key Requirements
- Experience working with children and youth
- Leadership skills and experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Willing and able to work weekdays with some evenings and weekends for programs or events
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within teams
- Willingness to do community outreach
- Strong computer, organizational, time management, and administrative skills
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a day camp program for grades 6-9
- Plan, facilitate, and coordinate program activities
- Promote the program using media skills
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment
- Provide support and mentorship to youth
