ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The RiseBoro Home Delivered Meals (HDML)/Meals-on-Wheels program provides thousands of meals daily to various communities in Brooklyn, NY. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director and Director, the Deliverer of HDML is responsible for the daily delivery of meals to homebound clients. The Deliverer is required to maintain delivery records. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
+ Deliver packed food to homebound clients and food satellites
+ Deliver holiday or emergency food packages to homebound clients
+ Assist with ensuring appropriate packing of meals to ensure proper temperatures are maintained
+ Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle
+ Record meal delivery and collect and record client contributions on route sheets
+ Notify the coordinator of any changes in client status or inability to deliver
