Job Description
We are looking to recruit a permanent Demand Planning Manager to work within the Merchandise department of Clicks. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Demand Portfolio Manager.
Job Purpose
To lead the direction in demand and statistical forecasting by developing business strategies and merchandise plans, within allocated portfolio, in partnership with Portfolio Managers, in order to drive profitability through increased sales, improved margins, and working capital productivity.
Job Objectives
- To be accountable for forecast accuracy within the Allocated portfolio
- To be accountable for optimized inventory levels within the Allocated portfolio and minimum order quantity
- To support the budget planning process and strategy for monthly/annual financial forecasting and communicate these plans to senior management
