Job Summary
The person hired for this position focuses on Demand & Supply Planning , ensuring alignment between market demand, inventory levels and supply availability to support business operations. This position will be responsible for creating demand plan as well as managing supply operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Demand Forecasting: Gathering and applying market intelligence to the demand plan. Market intelligence may come from marketing, key accounts, and other possible sources including management of any intelligence received via EDI and system historical data.
- Managing demand planning exceptions related to unforeseen spike demand, forecast bias, exceptional month to date activities, etc.
- Leveraging forecast performance metrics tools, not limited to Power BI dashboard, to measure demand accuracy, assess the quality and frequency of overrides, assess forecast bias, as well as root cause analysis of major forecast erro...
