Key Responsibilities Post fixture Claims handling in Ship-Broking house. Ensuring all time bar notifications are passed on and claims are submitted within the contracted time limit and as per Charter Party clauses. Attend/mitigate demurrage and post-fixture claims disputes/calculations. Facilitate Owners and Charterers to achieve agreement of demurrage and post-fixture claims. Send reminders to Charterers to ensure timely settlement of claims. Basic knowledge of shipping operation is preferred. Other written Charter Parties duties as and when needed. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies/Shipping or Oil/Petroleum Trading industry/ Logistics/Supply chain. Similar experience dealing with claims and demurrage would be an advantage. Candidates without experience but with relevant Diploma or Degree are welcome to apply. Problem solving, meticulous and detail oriented. Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker.
