Job Description
The Dental Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised.
He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records.
Responsibilities- Assist Dentists during dental treatment
- Assist in performing of dental radiography
- Assist to order dental supplies when supplies are low in stock
- Educate patients on dental and post-operative care
- Handle patient registration and appointment scheduling
- Handle telephone and walk-in enquiries
- Mix material for fillings
- Perform general administrative duties
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- Willing to work saturdays
