Job Description
Educates patients on oral hygiene and performs dental hygiene services and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Performs dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride, root planning, and in-office whitening treatments.
- Completes a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and documents any abnormalities or suspected conditions.
- Conducts visual examination and feeling of gums for signs of disease, sores, and other dental health issues.
- Refers patients to different dentists as per patients’ needs (GP Dentist, Orthodontist, Periodontist, Implantologist, and Oral Surgeon, etc.).
- Complies with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Participates in activities to promote healthy oral hygiene in schools/ corporate events and increase patient footfall (business development activities).
