FL-DOH-Marion County-Dental Hygienist - Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred. Pediatric Experience highly preferred.
Position: Pay Rate: $35.91/hr / Vendor Rate: $46.68/hr
WORK ENVORNMENT: Marion County Health Department or alternating school site locations.
DRESS CODE: Scrubs
TRAVEL: 10% of the time. May be assigned to a school site. Can ride with a state employee in a state vehicle. Normally will be an elementary school. Will be at the school for the entire day, not travel required during business hours.
TOOLS/EQUIPMENT: Dental hygiene tools, Eaglesoft and HMS computer software
JOB DESCRIPTION:
** Using dental instruments and hygiene equipment, performing dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planning.
** Instruct patients in preventive dental techniques.
** Assisting a high number of patients as required.
** Ability to work with dentists, assistants, student assistants and volunteers.
