JOB SUMMARY:
This is a physician position and is responsible for the overall general surgery leadership at Digestive Disease Institute, including all issues regarding leadership, operational, fiscal and human resource management. This position is responsible for the integration of all General Surgery services at the Digestive Disease Institute into CCAD’s strategic plan.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Physician responsibilities:
+ Monitors and provides care to patients at CCAD within Digestive Disease Institute
+ Prescribes or administers medication, therapy and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury
+ Provides specific treatments and/or performs operations to treat patient medical conditions
+ Evaluates patient and records applicable notes about patient’s condition for purposes of serving as a record of treatment and/or making a possible referral to another member of the health care professional ...
