Job Description

The Department of Kinetic Imaging at VCUarts Qatar seeks a Visiting Artist whose teaching and creative practice engage interdisciplinary approaches to art, design, computation, and emerging media. The position involves participating in the department as an adjunct faculty member including teaching the department’s sophomore-level curriculum across the five primary domains of the program:


  • Video & Imaging (Video, Photography, Animation)

  • Spatial Media (3D modeling, Virtual Reality, 3D printing, Design Fabrication technologies).

  • Sound (Recording, Synthesis, Performance).

  • Interaction & Computation (Coding, Interaction Design, Interactive Art).

  • Game Design (Video game design, Systems design, Play, World building).
