Deputy IG Manager – 12 Month Fixed Term
Contracted by Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, the role offers flexibility to be based across up to three sites and involves working with Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities
- Monitor and report on compliance with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and other relevant legislation.
- Provide expert advice on Records of Processing Activity (ROPA), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), data breach management, and data sharing across corporate and clinical services.
- Maintain evidence to meet the Data Security & Protection Toolkit.
- Line‑manage the IG Officer to ensure legislative and organisational requirements are fulfilled, including the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations.
