Role Overview
This role is for a deputy manager in a well‑established EBD children’s home situated in Oadby. It offers the choice of working within a 3‑bed or 4‑bed setting, with a blend of administrative duties, shifts and sleep‑ins.
Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the home.
- Work a balanced rota of administrative duties, shifts and sleep‑ins.
- Help deliver high‑quality care to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
- Lead shifts, supervise staff and support team development.
- Assist with care planning, safeguarding and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and care standards.
- Promote a safe, structured and nurturing environment.
