Job Description
What the role is:
You will be part of the Law Editing and Revision Unit in the Legislation Division of the Attorney-General’s Chambers, and will be responsible for providing:
- Editorial services for the drafting of legislation, including checking of house‑styles, formatting and language checks, fact checking, conducting policy and legal research, and legal checks, establishing and maintaining standard provisions, to ensure consistency and quality control across the Singapore Statute Book.
- Simple legislative drafting and legislative advisory services to the Government and statutory authorities.
- Support in preparing revised editions for both Acts and subsidiary legislation.
- Organising the timely and efficient proofing of Bills, subsidiary legislation and revised editions, coordinating and liaising between Government Ministries and statutory authorities, the law drafters, editors and publishers within the Division, Parliament Secretari...
