Job Description
Position: Design Engineer (BIW)
Department: Vehicle Engineering – 3-Wheeler – BIW COE
Roles and Responsibility:
- Preparation of concepts, detailed parametric design (components and assemblies) and manufacturing 2D drawings in Siemens NX for different system and subsystem of BIW in a complex package envelop from predevelopment to series production phase.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for BIW assembly using CAD software (NX).
- Record and manage BIW system, subsystem, and component level design requirements through cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Detailed benchmarking and master section preparation for different system and subsystem of BIW and closure for battery electric vehicles
- Interface and DMU analysis and seamless coordination with internal and external stakeholders to resolve packing and interface challenges.
