Design Engineer
Oversee new product development projects, drive process and design improvements, and spearhead research and development initiatives for a manufacturer of vertical feed mixers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design/drafting team to conceptualize ideas, conduct thorough testing, and revise drawings, bill of materials, and operating procedures.
- Partner with production to identify process gaps, ensure product quality, and streamline builds.
- Lead efforts in liaising with the parts and warranty team for service parts needs, warranty/failure analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance to the team of designers, including coaching, managing goals, and aligning with commitments and KPIs.
- Approve drawings and calculations as required.
