A global specialist in the design and manufacture of high-temperature metal seals for aerospace, automotive and power generation sectors are seeking a Design Engineer to join their Engineering team to drive the next phase of development and growth.
As a Design Engineer your duties will include:
Respond to customer enquiries, review applications, develop technical specificationsSpecify catalogue parts, optimise seal configurations and design bespoke seals and gasketsCreate 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models, maintain design files and drawing registersLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure design suitabilityUtilise computer-based tools (e.g. Finite Element Analysis) to develop part designsPerform physical testing (e.g. load deflection, leak testing) to validate part performanceDevelop customer relationships, support Sales, develop product range and performancePerform...
