Job Description
We're looking for a Design Manager to join our Southern Water framework team based in the Kent, or Sussex regions.
Location
Offices at Falmer, East Sussex; Chatham, Kent; Chichester, West Sussex. You will also need to visit the sites you are supporting, and have the option to work from home.
Core Hours
10 to 3
Responsibilities
As a Design Manager, you'll be working with the Project Managers and Project Directors, supporting them to check and empower the design partners to deliver to plan. You'll also be tracking and reporting on the design progress of their particular projects.
Day To Day
- Lead and manage engineering design delivery for assigned projects.
- Spearhead and optimise the engineering assurance process for designs prepared by partner at outline design and Capital Delivery partners at tender and construction design.
