Role Overview
The Developer / IT Service Owner (Dev/ITSO) is accountable for the end-to-end health, quality, and operational performance of a designated business-critical application. In addition to active software development responsibilities, this role assumes formal service ownership, acting as the single point of accountability for availability, stability, incident resolution, change execution, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary owner and advocate for the assigned application across IT, business units, and external partners
- Oversee the entire service lifecycle from design and deployment to retirement
- Coordinate major incidents, problem investigations, and root cause analyses; lead war-room sessions when required
- Develop, enhance, and refactor application functionality using Java Spring Boot
