Responsibilities:
Patient Examination:
Ensure appropriate delegations (when required), and appropriate knowledge, skills and judgement are in place for all examinations. Ensure appropriate signage restricting access to patient exam room is posted. Chaperone Policy. Ensure correct patient, procedure and laterality identification is confirmed. Ensure patient consent is obtained prior to start of procedure. Stop procedure at any time if patient withdraws consent and document reason n technologist worksheet. Technologist Documentation policy including the documentation of technical impressions as per protocols. Latex policy. Unexpected and Critical Findings policy. Addition of Procedures policy. Ensure that patient images display patient name, MRN, case number, procedure date, type of procedure. Ensure DMS identity is displayed on each patient image.
