Key Responsibilities Technical & Mechanical Duties Inspect, diagnose, service, and repair diesel engines and related systems using diagnostic tools and software. Perform maintenance and repair work according to workshop standards and manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic information. Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving on mechanical and electrical systems. Ensure all warranty claims are accurately diagnosed using the 3 C’s methodology: Complaint Cause Correction Maintain high levels of workmanship and task performance at all times. Ensure all work completed complies with required quality and safety standards. Workshop Administration Properly record all hours worked and sold. Ensure all lubricants, consumables, and parts used are accurately recorded on job cards. Complete job cards accurately and in line with company procedures.
