Description
This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on diesel and non-diesel vehicles and heavy equipment to sound, safe, and reliable performance of the vehicle and/or equipment.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture while upholding the company’s core values.
- Changes and repairs tires per manufacturer specifications.
- Performs oil and filter services on automobiles, concrete trucks, tractor trailers, front end loaders, and various types of equipment.
- Diagnoses and repairs minor electrical issues of equipment lights, switches, etc. on affected trucks and equipment.
- Assists Diesel Technicians II and III with more advanced repairs.
- Uses pressure washer to maintain cleanliness of the equipment.
