Diesel Service Tech/Mechanic
Our client, a family-owned truck repair is an operated Union Diesel Repair Shop serving the St. Louis area for over 80 years. Currently being run by the 4th generauDBC0uDD9Fon of Schroeders. We are currently looking for Diesel Mechanics for our 2nd shift, 3:30 to Midnight.Monday through Friday work week, Union wages and Benefits via Machinist District 9.
DuuDBC0uDD9Fes & Responsibilities:- Consulting the customer and reading work orders to evaluate the tasks required
- Preparing work plans after fully scoping out the issues
- Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
- Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
- Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts
