Position Summary
The Mechanical Sheet Metal, Piping & Plumbing Virtual Construction Technology Lead is responsible for leading and standardizing the technology, digital workflows, and data systems that support virtual construction, fabrication, and field installation.
This role serves as the technical authority for Trimble RTS layout, reality capture, model setup, and database management, ensuring consistent, accurate, and repeatable execution across projects. The Technology Lead works closely with VC leadership, Advanced Construction Planners (ACP), project teams, Trimble layout crews, and field leadership to ensure technology and models align with jobsite needs and union work practices.
