Job Description
Responsible for promoting and selling a company's products or services directly to customers, typically in a retail environment, through face-to-face interactions, or via direct outreach. This role acts as a brand ambassador, ensuring a positive customer experience while achieving sales targets.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Sales: Greeting customers, answering queries, providing detailed product information, and persuading customers to make purchases.
- Sales Transactions: Processing cash, credit card, and, if necessary, online payments using point-of-sale (POS) systems, as well as handling returns or exchanges.
- Merchandising & Inventory: Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, restocking shelves, and assisting with inventory checks and product tagging.
- Product Knowledge: Staying updated on product features, benefits, and current promotions to effectively recommend items.
