Position Purpose
The Director of Emergent Bilingual Programs and Supports is responsible for the implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of bilingual education programs and services for Emergent Bilingual (EB) students across the district. This role oversees systems that ensure students are accurately identified, appropriately placed, and provided services that meet all federal, state, and district expectations, while maintaining strong program fidelity across PK–12 campuses, including Dual Language programs.
In close collaboration with the Student Placement Center and Curriculum & Instruction departments—including Assessment, Analytics, Reporting, and Accountability, Core Content, and Specialized Learning—the Director ensures coordinated systems of support that promote access to grade-level content, language development, and student success.
