For years, data science was a business support function running analyses for the business. Supporting decisions made elsewhere.
Data science now drives product decisions. People are building systems customers depend on daily, embedding them into core workflows, and investing heavily in measurement and governance. They need a leader to own it.
You'll report to the VP, who is based in the US, but you'll own the strategy and impact of a portfolio of data science work across multiple teams.
And establish governance for AI, data quality, privacy, and model risk. Lead and develop strong managers and senior ICs.
