Job Description
In this role, you will provide leadership and direction in the development, implementation, and monitoring of effective programs to support the Company’s environmental, health and safety efforts, to reduce injuries and illnesses, and to ensure environmental compliance. This role supports all aspects of the business, including the Company’s supply-chain and retail operations.
_Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:_
+ Manage three program areas supporting the Company’s EH&S functions: store safety; Distribution Center safety; and environmental compliance.
+ Partner with supply chain and retail operations leadership in developing and implementing site policies concerning environmental, health and safety.
+ Act as subject matter expert for OSHA, EPA and similar federal, state, and local regulations.
