Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Lead pharmacy operations as an Interim Pharmacist in Charge/Director of Pharmacy at a behavioral health inpatient facility located in Council Bluffs, IA. This contract assignment starts on May 18 and will continue until a permanent hire is placed. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, working 6 hours per day, providing a focused and manageable workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards.
- Manage medication repackaging processes, preferably using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems.
- Supervise the loading of drugs into automated dispensing machines such as Omnicell.
