Summary:
Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, this position is responsible for the direction of the Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Programs (rehabilitative/therapeutic services). Coordinates and supervises operations of the department. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and assures the competency of all associates. Assists in formulating the budget; evaluates department performance versus budget and takes appropriate actions to remain within budget guidelines. Maintains efficient and effective departmental operations while requiring compliance with all state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols. Maintains records pertinent to associates and the operation of the department. Works closely with medical staff leadership to develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs that enhance the quality of care and achieve a high level of patient, family, associate, and provider satisfaction.
