Job Description

Dispatch Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Supervisor to join the dynamic team based in Montague Gardens.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Maintain workflow by motivating drivers and vehicle loading assistants to work fast and correctly.
  2. Check that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are at work and report absentees timeously to the Logistics Manager.
  3. Ensure that drivers and vehicle loading assistants are wearing clean undamaged protective clothing as per company policy.
  4. Assist the Logistics Manager in planning the daily dispatch routes and loading activities.
  5. Source completed invoices from invoicing personnel.
  6. Ensure that all routes are documented on the trip sheet allocated to the delivery route.
  7. Ensure that all individual orders are marked off on the correct invoice copy when loading.
  8. Coordinate and control loading of final orders.
