Port Elizabeth, South Africa Our client is seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to join the Port Elizabeth team. Responsibilities Ensure that stock holding is managed as per the policy Monitor stock turns, stock holding costs and ABC Classification Introduce management controls to mitigate stock variances / losses Manage product classification and storage locations accordingly Manage stock rotation and traceability Manage warehousing / inventory related data, reports and KPI’s Managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts Oversee the receiving, storage, and organizing of goods in the warehouse Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement measures to prevent stockouts or excess inventory Coordinate shipments and ensure timely deliveries Work closely with Logistics and Demand Planners, Transport Services and Maintenance Providers, Branch Admin Controller and other stakeholders to schedule and track shipments Ensure that all necessary documentation...
